Photography Tips For Motorcycle Riders
If you’re an avid motorcyclist, you’ve probably traveled thousands of miles on your bike, through cities, along coastlines, and over mountain ranges. All of those places are quite beautiful and lend themselves well to photography. You can really make your social media stand out by taking gorgeous photos during your rides of everything you see. Here are some tips on how to take great photos on the road.
Have Your Camera Ready
Whether you’re using your phone or a digital camera, you should make sure that you have it readily accessible so you can capture that amazing sunset or unique tourist attraction. Make sure you store your camera securely on your bike to keep it safe and ready to grab when you stop your bike and are ready to start taking photos.
Try Unique Angles
Shooting every single photo straight on will not be that interesting. Try experimenting with different angles and frames by considering the rule of thirds, where you imagine a grid of three-by-three squares over your subject. Try putting the subject into a side or corner square instead of the middle. This goes for pictures of your motorcycle or selfies on your bike, too. Spice it up to keep things interesting!
